Pros

The company was very good about accommodating people that had children or otherwise changes in schedules (doctor's appointments, vacations etc)

Cons

Very little opportunity for advancement. Promotions were often times given based on who management liked best and not on who could do the best job. Also, the pay was low compared to other non-standard insurance carriers and raises were not given regularly for a few years. (That was based on company performance.) The company also did not support the professional development of its workforce.

Pros

Decent Salary and Benefits, you learn things you need to know in the real world about auto insurance coverage and industry overall.

Cons

Department has a lot of tasks that could be handled by other departments such as Claims or Accounting. We don't know enough about certain procedures and need more training. Too focused on number and not focused enough on quality of service.
