Very Bad Environment for Software Developers in Wayne, PA

The second-level development manager is disrespectful and demeaning to the developers (not to mention being arrogant). I've never met anyone so ill-suited to be a manager. He has driven so many good developers away. He literally drives some people to tears with his unrealistic demands. There is a lot of eye rolling when people need to attend meetings with him. They just try to lay low and avoid his wrath. He does have a few favorite people though (very few). I've never seen a manager with this style be successful. Also, expect little or no salary increases.

Stable company with good benefits. You have the ability to change teams and technologies within the company if you are not happy with your current team.

Cons

Depending on the team you are working on, your salary might not be very competitive with the market. Some managers are more flexible with working from home than others.
