Pros

Training and development. Other companies target recruiters from Aston Carter because of the work expected here. You will be challenged. You will work hard. Every other job compared to this will be a piece of cake as a result. Good leadership (for the most part). They will help you get to where you want. Opportunities to make a good amount of money. Uncapped commission. There is potential to make a fair amount of money, but the commission percentages aren’t the greatest. It will take a while before you start seeing those larger paychecks

Cons

Sales and numbers driven. If you want to become a recruiter to connect with candidates and help people, this is not the position for you. You will need to bite your tongue when clients cancel a position or ghost you. Your success will be determined by how successful the account managers on your team are. There is potential to make money, but if account managers are mediocre at client facing interactions and setting expectations, you will not make commission on your work. Preference to the sales team. Your development as a recruiter comes second to the success of account managers. Account managers don’t always care about getting their recruiters successful or promoted.
