      Good location in Birmingham city centre Good opportunity to make money Hard working ethic You need to be very driven and self motivated and are around like minded people

      The pay was very basic Long hours at the office where you are expected to work 12 hour days Very cliquey

      Pros

      The management on my team went out of their way to make me feel at home. They set up lunches with the rest of the team and a staff night out. The training was very good, and there was very good support for those without experience.

      Cons

      My team mates(all male) were crude and inappropriate. They would often compare pictures of women, talk about strippers in a club they went to, talk about(and I think one day two of them were taking) cocaine, and ask me about what drugs I took in front of managers. In an attempt to befriend my team I tried to join in with some of their jokes at the beginning, but some of the team members literally just ignored me sometimes or wouldn't look at me while talking. I think they were just a bunch of immature boys who thought of all women as sex objects, mothers or non-existent.

      Long hours - but if you're not willing to do that, you shouldn't be in recruitment Inherently frustrating job at times
