Toxic Culture Coming from Management

Pros

This is the public name for Network Medical Management, please check out the reviews for that company for a more accurate representation of being at this terrible place. All these positive reviews are from upper management in a desperate attempt to cover things up.

Cons

1. Completely out of touch upper management. At townhalls they preach about how employees praise the company, don't buy it. Everyone in my department is overworked, under trained, and uninformed about what's going on. 2. Several executives have poor communication skills. They think so lowly of employees and highly of themselves that they openly blame, yell, and condescend us through emails, in person, and on calls for various issues that management causes. They don't realize that they contribute to a majority of the issues here, but it is somehow always the staff's fault. 3. Terrible and inefficient processes. If you are lucky, you may have someone show you how to do things. But you will quickly see that nobody truly understands the process from start to finish or that it is terribly inefficient. But nobody has the time to make improvements because they were not trained properly or have too much work to focus on anything. 4. No sense of team building with your own team. We rarely have team outings where all employees are invited. There are plenty of lunches and other events where upper management are only welcome. 5. Lack of training. They hold random management trainings but not everyone in a management position attends. Often times, managers are excluded and don't even know about these meetings until they hear it from other manages on their same level. 6. Huge lack of communication. Decisions are being made and ideas are being discussed that impacts the department and company, but we are never told about it until much later. As employees we have the right to know what's going on and being discussed, especially if it will impact our day to day operations. The few times they do provide us information timely, it's not very well thought out and they expect employees to fill in the gaps and overwork to compensate for their lack of planning. 7. Favoritism/Nepotism in upper management. Certain upper management are friends or related to each other. Between them, they hired a lot of friends and other people they have relationships with. They boasted paying out record bonuses for 2022, but really a majority went to them. Bonuses were down by roughly 30% for the staff, and that's for those who were fortunate enough to receive one.

Pros

Fast paced Complex environment Opportunities to learn if you are a self starter

Cons

Zero opportunity for non-family and friends. Nepotism at its finest thrives in this company. Just look at the top board of directors and executives, they're all friends and relatives. There is no way to make it in this company without intimate connections - be it "I play video games with the owner's son" to "I am the owner's son".

Pros

The only pro is if you realize this place is bad and leave within the first month of working here

Cons

-Toxic culture. Like many similar posts these so called "leaders" are not leading anything. They do not take any accountability, they look down on regular employees, and have unrealistic expectations. The common one being I can treat you wrong and ignore you all I want, however I expect you to serve me with a smile on your face. I do not feel motivated to come into work, I feel dread. -After working here I realize that the only thing they care is about the company image, not the people. -For a company that is projected to have billion(s) in revenue, the office space/amenities/employee pay and benefits/equipment does not reflect that. It makes you really question where is all the money going. -Company rebranding so many times during my time here is questionable, can look up or google Network Medical Management or ApolloMed and read the reviews for a more accurate representation of how the company is. -Pay is awful, bonuses are awful. Promotion wise I feel there is definitely favoritism. I do not feel supported at all by management or HR. -I have come to realize this is the definition of workplace trauma. There is a high turnover rate and I am sure they can see why.
