Decent Place for Young Professionals

Pros

Great opportunities for career development of young professionals, due to lack of experienced people they can easily achieve lead positions. Pays above the industry average but not fairly across the employees.

Cons

Overtime is part of the company culture. Mentorship is not available for young professionals even though half of the employees are in their early career, lack of guidance is damaging both the employees and the business.

Didn't get to experience any

Cons

After signing the contract, I was informed there's a limit on the number of times they could offer the relocation package (which was included in the original job offer), and due to my background it would be fairer for them to offer it to other candidates. The offer was then rescinded when this was disputed.

Exciting an great place to work

Pros

The work is extremely interesting and exciting. The people are also fantastic, the company take their time in choosing the right candidate to fit the culture of each team. There is always something new going on and opportunities to push your career. Astroscale also has a 9/75 working pattern (optional) which has been great for work-life balance.

Cons

There's always a lot of work to do but with extended weekends off (9/75) and passionate teams, it's never overbearing.
