Pros

Beautiful office in an older building, and many small touches to make life as an employee fun, like flexible hours and desktop coffee delivery. Chance to work on interesting technologies and discover new ways of doing things.

Cons

Longish commute if you don't live downtown.

The Pleasures and Pitfalls of a Service Company

Pros

- The opportunity to work on a variety of projects keeps the work interesting and challenging. - Relaxed but professional work environment. - Reasonable work-life balance expectations (infrequent overtime, opportunities to work from home, flexible hours, etc.) - Opportunities to learn from talented people. - Free snacks and a real-life in-house barista! - Office even has great views over Coal Harbour!

Cons

Like many professional service company, Atimi goes through phases of feast and famine, and it has starved at times in the past. Although the situation has been improving, if you are looking for 100% job safety Atimi is still not there yet. But if job satisfaction is higher on your list then it's pretty high up there.

Pros

Beautiful downtown office overlooking the ocean and north Shore mountains, and they really cater to the welfare of their employees. Work from home days, flexible working hours, free breakfast, in-house barista, and a lively talented group of people that are focused on getting the job done, but with a smile.

Cons

Everyone here works hard here, and they do it because they love it. If you are the kind of person that needs a lot of supervision in order to be motivated to work, this isn't the place.
