Back office (processing and underwriting) has a big disconnect from those originating the loans. Senior management disconnected from those originating loans.

Pros

AUB is a great company to work for. Mid size bank but always getting bigger and looking for the next merger. Benefits are very nice, and 3 weeks PTO to start isn’t bad.

Cons

Pay is below average compared to the other financial institutions around Richmond. Smaller company’s are a little harder to move up through vertically since there aren’t as many positions.
