Pros

- Good working enviornment with patience for you to grow, Great for starting engineer. -

Cons

- Big international company that slows down things on its own by being inert on many processes. - Lots of people being many years in the company lose interest and make lives of others difficult. - Belgian-Swedish culture is non-explicit and lots of times you have to read between the words to understand the message. Indirect communication also slows things down. - Not the best salary out there (just above the Belgian average for industrial companies)

Pros

- Hybrid work environment - Expenses covered/benefits package - Scope of work/type of projects - Coworkers were fantastic

Cons

- Uncertain layoffs. I was hired and 10 months later was laid off due to structure reorganization. Seemed like a lot of people were worried about layoffs when I was laid off. - They'll give you an automotive allowance if you travel often, but you're only allowed to have a vehicle with less than 3,000 miles and no older than 3 years old. Then you'll buy a new car, get laid off, and have to cover the car loan until you find employment. - Senior leadership is untrustworthy and lacked communication throughout my tenure. Everything was great until it wasn't. - Lack of training. You'll be expected to understand tools, procedures, and tasks quickly with limited training. - Travel often. - Listed as a remote position but was more hybrid than anything. - It seemed like there was a decent amount of turnover, especially in sales.
