Pros

APMs have a lot of scope and responsibility. Benefits, flexibility, awesome office.

Cons

Culture is very Meta. In good ways and in bad. The stock being (way) inflated in 2020 created a totally fabricated pressure to bounce back to COVID levels, causing some unnecessary intensity. Also being remote means late evening calls regularly.

Pros

1. Work-life Balance: Very strong emphasis on maintaining a healthy balance, the only company I've worked at with unlimited PTO that truly feels unlimited and not policed. 2. Flexibility: "Team Anywhere" continues to prioritize and protect remote work and general flexibility with your work schedule 3. Competitive Pay & Benefits: Offers excellent compensation and benefits, especially for families, including generous parental leave. 4. Amazing Customers: Opportunity to collaborate and build for some of the most exciting organizations like Figma, Reddit, NASA, Disney... the list goes on! 5. Great Products: Pride in creating reliable tools with a positive market outlook. 6. Exceptional Team: Get to work alongside smart, driven, curious colleagues who I learn from daily. 7. Transparent Leadership: Feels like I know what leadership is focused on and how my work ladders up, decisions are communicated clearly with less office politics than I've experienced elsewhere

Cons

1. Large Organization: Processes are very slow and require extensive planning in advance. 2. Siloed Ways of Working: I feel there is limited visibility into the organization as a whole and a general lack of awareness about what other teams are focused on if they aren't overlapping work with your specific team. 3. Don't have a lot of data support: There's not a lot of DS support focused around marketing which makes it hard to understand business impact in terms of conversion, product adoption, etc. Would love more headcount and dedicated marketing data science resources in the future.
