Pros

Great for a while. Exhibited values for a while. Stock was good for a while. Acted like they cared for a long while. TEAM Anywhere will always be good.

Cons

Brought in a ton of outside leadership from companies that did not reflect Atlassian values and completely tanked the culture that Atlassian had always preached. This was within the last few years. Co-founder and Co-CEO left and the remaining Co-founder and Co-CEO went to town. A ton of the C-suite left and was replaced by people from companies who do not seem to care about culture. Values disregarded. Horrible professional behavior was rewarded while good people were laid off or left because they saw what was going on.

Pros

Apart from compensation and the option to work from home, there’s nothing worthwhile here

Cons

Poor leadership without vision. They are swimming in the ocean without any goal. No innovation , Toxic work culture. Performance process called APEX. which is applied on engineers only not on leadership. Engineers are targetted not on performance but how much Leadership is directionless and lacks vision, they’re simply drifting without purpose. There’s zero innovation, and the work culture is deeply toxic. The so-called performance process (APEX) is enforced only on engineers, while leadership remains completely exempt. Engineers aren’t evaluated on actual performance, but on how much they please their manager or skip level. Most managers are mere puppets, and skip-level leaders spend their time engaging in shameless flattery instead of real leadership. Specifically, the Indian senior leadership is utterly incompetent , they add no value and have no clue what they’re doing.
