      Huge change in culture since the new CTO came in

      Pros

      * Full remote is OK; remote first culture * Great people except for senior leadership * Products that people actually use * Comp remains quite competitive * Work-life-balance remains OK on the right teams

      Cons

      * Went from a very collaborative and supportive culture to a sink-or-swim-one * Brought in heavy perf processes and expectation of churn * A lot of teams have really broken their WLB * Lot of kool-aid around "developer joy" without fixing actual issues of tech debt and bad balance of product/engineering influence

      From bad to worse - avoid at all costs

      Good benefits and decent compensation.

      Cons

      The overall company has gone downhill over the past year. What took many years to build up was destroyed in a matter of months. Even worse is the accounting function which has taken a nosedive. They have poor leadership and are oblivious to what is happening on teams they are in charge of managing. This place is the definition of chaos and there is zero work-life balance. Really happy I got out when I did as I hear it's getting even worse.

      Cons

      Management is copying stack ranking and forced attrition. The previous culture is dead. It's just like the rest of the tech industry but with remote work and reduced pay. New management should not be trusted; nepotism runs deep.
