Pros

The company truly lives by its values. It values their employees and treats them with at most respect. Does not matter you are a fresher or experienced candidate. They give you the settling time and keeps taking your feedback to improvise. You will get a lot to learn and company motivates in all possible ways to help you grow. The best part of this company is Foundation. They will give opportunities to give back to the community you come from . Which actually touched my heart. Regarding salary, they dont have any hidden cuts, you get whats promised to you. Hats off to this great organisation and leaders. Proud to be Atlassian.

Cons

Support Engineers are misread as Customer Support representatives. Management is only focused on metrics and running behind numbers. Atlassian values are often thrown out the window in Indian teams. The management has a mentality of following the command and not questioning. If you raise any questions then you will be scrutinised for that as well.

Some of the pros of working at Atlassian are : 1. Great Culture. Lots of positive vibes overall. The company is very people centric and will make you not only a better engineer but a better person. 2. Smart and talented colleagues. 3. Appropriate pay. Best in class and very competitive pay as well as perks. 4. Great engineering practices. 5. Emphathetic people. 6. Remote first. You can work from where you are comfortable. Working at Atlassian is the best thing that has happened to me in recent years.

Cons

Some cons of working at Atlassian include : 1. Too many processes and hence it is slow sometimes. 2. Less work means that it is not suitable to people coming from high velocity places like startups or Amazon. 3. Impact opportunities may be limited. Though, appreciation for work is always there. 4. Being well rounded is super important here. Just writing tons and tons of code will not get you anywhere.
