Pros
Work experience. If you’re just starting your career, this is a great place to start. Because they are so understaffed you will be forced to manage multiple projects including those outside of your job description. Take on as much as you can as soon as you can to maximize your experience and build your resume up. Give them 18 months and then get out immediately.
Cons
Salary-beyond low. For the size and the industry you will be paid significantly lower than your counterparts at comparable companies. Benefits-The highest premiums and highest deductibles I’ve ever seen at any company. Bonuses and raises- not happening. Retention rate-see salary, benefits, bonuses, and raises. Promotions-significantly more work with minimal additional pay. If you are not in sales, expect to have additional job responsibilities that are completely unrelated to your day-to-day work. Atos does not backfill positions left open by resignations in order to save money. __________________________________________________ There is no wellness program. There is no employee engagement. There is no employee recognition from top management. The diversity and inclusion program is negligible as it is managed by a single employee at the global level. There is very little PTO that does not carry over year to year. The employee discounts offered are more expensive than discounts found online. Unlike most companies who have made and concerted effort to change their company culture to be more employee focused, Atos has zero intent on doing the same. They remain steadfast in treating employees like cogs in a barely functioning machine. You are replaceable to them. Unless of course it’s cheaper to just not replace you at all…
