Pros
Good work life balance... Managers are helpful, they treat people as people not a code producing machines.. The human touch is still there... This I can say at least for the Bangalore facility..... I have heard few atrocities in Pune, Mumbai offices.. But over all a decent place to work for... After taking over Seimens IT services since 2012... Atos has lost its Pay Master tag ;P ... Now I am not sure if it is a pay master or not.. as the appraisals are under 4-8% for most of us.... ;) But over all I am kind of happy with the way this organization has treated me..... But there are employees who always crib about the projects and the work and managers.. So I would not deny that the typical IT company issues are absent .... Talking about the projects... Atos mostly has its contracts for European clients and mainly in SAP practice... For people with skill set like Java .NET or Oracle related technology .... there is not much work to look for... mostly Application Maintenance and support and Managed Services stuff... As Atos is one of the biggest player in Managed Services sector.... HR policies are good, Work from home is also available unless you are in one of the banking or mission critical projects... But yes... People are asked to leave the organization when the WFM feels that they do not have any thing for you.. which can happen with anyone here.. The other thing that I dont like is the implementation of dress code thing... though we have made our HR mellow down a little bit. but still i think we are not 007 spies who should always be in our Tuxedos .... he he he ... ;) We are IT employees doing back office job for the Westerners ... So why this Infosys thing(Typical formal sand Tie wearing Janta) imposed on us .off course I am not in favor of employees coming in bata Chappals(which is trend in Bangalore and Chennai offices usually) .. The good thing about the company is ... it is very democratic and every one is heard in a right spirit .... We have FB like portal where you can went out all your issues and frustrations tagging responsible people and department and the best part is they read and respond....in a +ve way .. be it managers or any executive level employee...
Cons
As usual ... Appraisals are very minimal... Since last 3 and a half year I did not receive any appraisal more than 6%... But then Variables are always 100% and sometimes 120-130% depending upon my performance... ;) One more thing I would say ... The office facilities are sub-standard when you compare it with other companies.... Not in all the location but yes in Bangalore it looks little sub standard.. :) More projects needs to be distributed in all the locations ... most of the time Atos focuses on Pune and Mumbai location as they are based out of these two primarily.. Freshers are asked to sign a bond of around 1.5 Lac for 2 years .. which is I think a bit harsh .... Dress code implementation is complete a turn off and a con ;)

IT Services Market where ATOS is a players is growing fast speccially related to data center and vertical Cloud Solutions .
Cons
In Brazil the company has not a good presence has lack of direction. It is complety diferent company from Europe.
