Lacking of career path in this company

Pros

Once a person is being assigned to a team, the environment will become relatively stable if he or she is able to deliver.

Cons

A person is likely to get stuck at the same team and performing similar tasks for years. The salary increment is well BELOW the market - count yourself luck if the increment is half that of inflation rate!

Pros

1) European culture, though still very French or German depending on which of the two former parts are more influential (Atos Origin or Siemens IS) 2) Some good initiatives to be proud of, e.g. the Olympic IT partnership 3) Great people in some teams. 4) Forward looking senior execs

Cons

1) Poor execution of the strategy 2) Lack of vision in the middle management on how to achieve the strategy - lack of engagement. As of certain level down you just lack any kind of alignment with what the senior management is setting as course. Whatever happens those mid level managers do not change their ways of working or goals. You can hardly feel any difference in your daily life or objectives with any kind of change in senior management. Why do we need changes in senior management then. 3) Very "old" organization - some people have worked for more than 20 years with the company and have got well into the routine of corp survival blocking any change, innovation or fresh ideas. 4) Strong blaming culture - it is not important as soon as I can blame someone else.
