      Pros

      In general you have a fine group of colleagues. The company has an interesting history, going back to BSO and Philips in The Netherlands and Atos in France. That resulted in a very specific culture.

      Cons

      Strong steering from France, but also very powerful country-organizations. Very difficult to leverage on the international scale. Lately, the strategy has become unclear and the company lost its focus on its employees.

      Pros

      Very slow and bureaucratic life. Legacy technologies and in house frameworks, so more can be learned on domain. Good for short term plans (2-3) years max.

      Cons

      1)Certain departments are extremely political and they go to any extent to immobilize the life and career prospects in case you don't "toe the line!". 2)Managers typically grow by oiling and expect the same from employees under the context of showing loyalty. 3)Many insecure managers show preferential treatment ,they ignore incompetence or promote incompetent people, undermining those who provide their paycheck, in order to buffer their own position. 4)A strict no for people with technical inclination."Do not get in here!" even if they pay you slightly more.Think long term. 5)Selected mentoring of people by managers who they think will protect them instead of showing fairness.
