Pros

Not any more, really ...

Cons

I cannot caution anyone enough to stay away from this company. There is zero, and I whole heartedly mean ZERO, interest in you as a talented, passionate, hard working person in this company. I have worked this company and the company it bought for 9 years and ever since Atos purchased us it has gotten WORSE. I have been able to do some magic and get some raises but I also know that I cannot get significant raises for my employees because they simply won't approve more than 10% increase for any raise. So if I took the mail room guy and made him a Service Delivery Manager, my hands would be tied to give them only at 10% raise. Now, if I hired outside of the company, I could give them far more. How does that make any sense? On top of that, they cut our PTO. There will be a massive flight of top level talent (if they haven't got more lucrative offers). I'm all for a lost cause, so I've stuck around, but I am now actively looking for positions that will likely increase my take home by 150% to 200% (not exaggerating, Atos is pay is in the bottom 25% of the market). I expect them to replace everyone with talentless Indians who can only read (poorly) a scripted set of answers, then lose so much market share that they will be bought out by some unfortunate conglomerate or completely go bankrupt.

Pros

The checks didn’t bounce and the insurance is ok. Decent time off allocation helps with sanity.

Cons

Anal-retentive C-level, process for the sake of process, and poisonous culture (if you can call it culture) is something that has to be seen to believe. No one trusts the company on anything and for good reason. Rips off their own people to hit their numbers each quarter along with suppliers, clients, and vendors. Random urgent marked emails ordering entire teams to fill out a six tab spreadsheet by the end of the following day or attend a call later the same day that has nothing to do with what anyone actually sells has everyone repeatedly changing focus from productivity stuff to busywork that some genius in another country decided was essential. Leaders you never hear from suddenly schedule calls twice a week to “engage” their teams who all simply regurgitate what they know the leader wants to hear. A sinking ship. Clueless at the top, bleeding out from the bottom. When staff is treated like trash, of course turnover increases and service drops with brain drain, and clients bail, and they are. The people still left are poor souls trying to pick up the pieces. Atos’ response is “the beatings will continue until morale improves.”

Pros

I get a paycheck until they find a way to replace me with someone or something cheaper. There are some really great and talented people in this company and I am referring to the people that do the daily work.

Cons

Our new leader asked everyone to work 2 days for free right before Christmas and if we did not get enough volunteers they were going to do a week furlough. The new leader sent out a heart felt email, because enough people volunteered to work 2 days without pay and that meant they met the numbers to shareholders and they got their bonuses. After Christmas in a town hall he stated that if you don't like what we are doing here then leave. Congrats on showing your true colors and goals! They could care less about the people and treat everyone as disposable trash, but consistently talk out of both sides of their mouths!
