Pros

Job stability: The company offers a stable working environment, which allowed me to build a solid 11-year career in IT support Colleague relationships: Good team dynamics and supportive coworkers who are willing to help each other Technical exposure: Opportunity to work with various clients and technologies, which helped build diverse troubleshooting skills

Cons

Career progression: Growth opportunities exist but advancement is very slow. After 11 years, felt limited in moving beyond the service desk analyst role Compensation: Salary and benefits packages are below market rate compared to other IT service providers in Malaysia. Annual increments are minimal Management inconsistency: Leadership quality varies significantly across teams and projects. Some managers are supportive while others lack proper guidance and communication Limited upskilling: Professional development and training opportunities are not proactively offered, making it challenging to acquire new certifications or skills
