Bad place for Female resources seeking career growth
Pros
Good place for self-learning seasons.
Cons
Very high chunces you may work smart round the year, meet expectations and more, make clients happy and yet not get what you deserve if you are FEMALE. Look at the male:female ratio at the Syntel onsite positions and roles above AP2/AP3 and you would agree 200% to what I say. Now, don't give me the crap that females are not good at handling onsite position roles. The shines of ego of old Syntel folks are so flashy and Dominant that all your existance appears tiny and is at stake dealing to them - be it professional or personal. Management is biased, always dancing to the rhythm of prevalent "Bias-technology" and not open to prefer or consider female resources for next higher level roles. Often even smart female resources end up being eye-candy to the employee pool with a bonus of poor growth curve and hence are compelled to leave the organisation if seeking career growth. I will always hate the biased growth of scanty people here and will never recommend any friend specially if FEMALE to join this organization.
