Winning Deals; Intellectually challenging, entrepreneurial spirit, exciting space to be in!
Pros
-Game changing technology that has a competitive advantage over mega-vendors. -Encouraged to bring new ideas to the table to add value to any project or group you are working within. -Attivio's platform can be applied to any company, any industry, which is a lot of fun, because there is always an opportunity to add value to your clients. -Fun group of people to work with who want to bring their tremendous experiences to the table. -In an technology space that is white hot and getting a lot of buzz; Big Data, Analytics, Unified Information Access. -Anyone who has a negative view of Attivio most likely was not ready to stretch themselves, or was not willing to think differently or try new approaches from what they were historically comfortable with. If you are expected everything to be handed to you, or deals to be delivered on a silver platter, this is not the place for you. You need to be ready to roll up your sleeves and work *smart* not just hard. If you are an seasoned sales rep who shows up to meetings, and expects your pre-sales technical counterpart to do all the talking, this is not the place for you. Some ol' dogs can't learn new tricks. Those are the people that didn't make it- the ones that didn't put the effort in to truly work hard to learn the product and how to sell this unique offering. -As a current employee who has been here over four years, I was never aware of multiple employees quitting. I would seriously question the claim made be another reviewer. To me that sounds like a disgruntled former employee who was overwhelmed, couldn't cut it, and didn't know how to sell complex solutions.
Cons
-Nothing here that isn't found at any other emerging company; honing market message, expanding team creating shifts in organizational structure, stress of achieving targets.
