Pros

Hybrid work schedule. Free snacks and drinks. Flexible PTO.

Cons

Office politics. You have to know certain people to get promotion opportunities. Low pay for sales reps and max comission amount is capped.

Pros

- Fully remote. However, this is now changing. - Decent PTO. - Decent Pay. - Achievements will look great on your CV no matter what department you're in. - There are a few genuine people.

Cons

- Soulless machine full of typical corporate politics. - Toxic individuals in management and senior management. - Lack of common courtesy and respect. - You have to play the corporate game. - Your work doesn't speak for itself, your ability to be liked and how people perceive you to perform is more important. - As per my headline, you'll most likely be made redundant when the business deems it no longer needs you. I've watched some really good people lose their jobs and the remaining employees stay to pick up the slack. - Effects on health. - Anyone not within a US team or location is a 2nd class employee. - People are constantly off sick which is no surprise.

Going downhill fast

Pros

When it was Stamps.com it was great. The leadership was capable. They treated their employees and customers well. But now that they’re on their 4th CEO post-pandemic. Says a lot. They blame competition and inflation but really it’s lack of accountability. Feel bad for the people who (over)work there.

Cons

Sad times, my friends. End of an era.
