Pros

Pay is decent Benefits are also pretty good. You will make good work friends for sure.

Cons

Working at this company is an exercise in frustration and disillusionment. The CEO’s behavior is far more erratic and unprofessional than that of a petulant child, and the few individuals who support him generally do not have direct interactions with him. The extended leadership team is equally lacking in qualifications, consisting mainly of individuals who appear unsuited for their roles. The company operates at a “decent” level only when things are running smoothly, but the moment any issue arises, particularly one caused by the company’s own negligence, the facade crumbles. Instead of addressing problems responsibly, they deflect blame, gaslight employees, and make individuals feel like the villains for attempting to seek resolution. Human Resources (HR) is in complete disarray, having experienced nearly 100% turnover in a short period. Even without layoffs, employees are leaving in droves, seeking opportunities elsewhere in the region. The high attrition rate serves as a stark testament to the toxic work environment and mismanagement at every level. If you are considering joining or working with this company, be prepared for a leadership culture that prioritizes ego over accountability and fails to foster a stable and supportive workplace.

Pros

I’ve worked as a Lead Auction Coordinator for Auction.com in New York State. It’s a part-time role with a lot of traveling, usually within a 2-hour drive. The job itself is fun and offers variety since you get to be on-site instead of stuck in an office. You’ll meet interesting people and have the chance to improve your public speaking skills.

Cons

While it’s a relaxed job, there’s limited room for growth. The management in New York doesn’t focus much on employee development, and although there’s a lot of training, it only covers the basics and doesn’t equip you to advance long-term. There’s not much company support for growth, at least in this region. The pay is decent, but since it's part-time, you’re typically working 10 to 15 hours a week
