Pros

What I liked about my job here is that the gave Executive Assistants a platform in which to speak and operate and add value to the company.

Cons

Disorganized. Lots of cooks in the kitchen. Dishonest and thieves

Pros

Lunch break... allows you to take a step back and get away from the madness.

Cons

Leadership team hires people with bloated resumes because the company is considered pre-IPO. An attempt to lure investors with those resumes but going through two CFOs in less than a year should tell you something. Pulls the plug on initiatives too quickly because the management team does not know how to lead. Employees are left working hard only to see their work become obsolete. Nepotism is thick. Old regime operates as a boys club (marine and/or alumni ties). New generation of VPs, or above level, also brings in their own pawns to gain power by numbers. Unstable environment, inept VPs, volatile industry. Focus is on commercial real estate so IPO dreams have ultimately passed. Volume in residential transactions have plummeted, hence the shift in commericl real estate. Dot com want to be because there are plenty of traditional real estate personalities in the company that are opposed to technology or have the "this is how it's always been" mentality.

Pros

I've been with the company for over 6 years in many different roles. I started at an entry level position and have worked up to management level. If you are willing to work for it, you can go a long way with this company! They pay fairly well for most positions and the company as a whole is very innovative in its industry. They are always evolving and coming up with new ideas which usually means, more opportunities for advancement and additional job security. The roles vary tremendously in part because they employ people all over the country, not just at the corporate offices. Whether you are a person who likes consistency in your day or a day that's always changing, they have those positions. The great people that work here and a lot of fun as well.

Cons

Depending on your position, you can work extra hours. For some managers in the company, they took away PTO but in exchange they are very flexible with when you need off and even encourage you to do so and you are still paid for this time. The main difference is you just don’t accumulate any time.
