Culture: free lunches, ping pong, events, fun atmosphere Lots of smart people Flexible Hours

Cons

You will take your work home with you You will struggle to be rewarded for all your hard work with pitiful raises for anyone outside of the top 1-2% Huge ramp-up, takes a long time to become self-sufficient with the technologies used Lots of skills and tools you learn here are useless outside of Amazon

Some of the orgs are extremely political and the leadership/management is extremely toxic towards the employees. They don't treat the employees with respect.

Spiraling downwards

Pros

There are some great people here and HR is committed to Spectrum and Belonging (for now).

Cons

Used to be a great place to work, but ever since the new CEO came in and jumped fully into bed with Amazon it has been spiraling downwards. Culture is shifting negatively to no longer care about us as humans, we're becoming just more cogs in the Amazon machine. Negative cultural trends combined with the ludicrous RTO5 have all the best people leaving, including myself currently looking....
