It's mostly fix term of contract these years since 2024. Not much career development for Junior employer or fresh graduate.

Cons

Company culture has steadily eroded over the past several years, with fewer genuine community or morale-building events Increasing emphasis on metrics, efficiency, and profitability over employee well-being Messaging from leadership strongly reinforces that employees are interchangeable resources Noticeable increase in attrition, alongside performance management practices that feel quota-driven rather than performance-driven Ongoing uncertainty following repeated reorganizations and workforce reductions

Great people, compensation and benefits. Since Audible is its own org within amazon employees get additional perks on top of amazon benefits.

Cons

there isn't a lot of opportunity for growth, and a lot of the work involved amazon integration, putting out fires, or maintaining legacy infrastructure. work on new features was rare.
