Pros

Benefits are great, peers are highly technical and customers love the product. Creative thinking is expected and rewarded. Customer comes first.

Cons

Happiness depends a lot on what team you join. Meet the people and manager to make sure its a good fit. Work is not always technically challenging.

Pros

The culture is great, balancing the unique culture (and mission) of Audible, with the technology and process capabilities of Amazon. Open work environment, minimal bureaucracy, free lunch, snacks and drinks, really smart people - wherever you turn.

Cons

High hiring bar, constant focus on delivering results, and an emphasis on putting listeners (customers) means that it might not be the right company for everyone.

Pros

The company is part of Amazon. One big advantage is that you can move to Seattle and join the main company relatively easily.

Cons

Very top down management. The upper management is stupid, but they think they are pretty smart. Very political atmosphere. You will spend 4-5 hours in a meeting.
