      Competitive compensation and benefits, though salary growth has slowed in recent years Free meals and remaining on-site perks are still a plus Work–life balance can be reasonable, depending heavily on team and manager Generally flexible day-to-day expectations compared to many large tech companies

      Cons

      Company culture has steadily eroded over the past several years, with fewer genuine community or morale-building events Increasing emphasis on metrics, efficiency, and profitability over employee well-being Messaging from leadership strongly reinforces that employees are interchangeable resources Noticeable increase in attrition, alongside performance management practices that feel quota-driven rather than performance-driven Ongoing uncertainty following repeated reorganizations and workforce reductions

      Excellent Place for SEs, Challenging Place for SDMs

      Pros

      Great salary and community. Lots of people to learn from. Access to one of the greatest repositories of engineering knowledge in the world.

      Cons

      Management positions are often low agency. Current leadership is working hard to coalesce a strategy that survives inspection and makes sense, but it is not yet clear where that will lead.

      Bright and engaged people, lots of emphasis on people-management, career development, training and learning. Good work-life balance.

      Cons

      Not competitive vacation policy -- only 3 weeks for tenures < 5 yrs Heavily process and documentation focused; sometimes feels like overkill
