Pros
Aurea is a Austin, TX based company with global coverage. Workforce consists of lots of creative and talented people who are either employees or contractors, but in each case they're treated the same - as Aureans. Business is growing rapidly through natural growth and new acquisitions, company is extremely healthy, there are absolutely no financial problems and it is moving forward with giant steps under great management. It is using a hybrid of work-from-home and office model. Everyone can communicate to top management without any issues or blockers in the way. Work-life balance is absolutely awesome as you are only required to provide the result; when you work or for how long is absolutely irrelevant. Everyone can get a chance to work for Aurea as it is always seeking for talented individuals, especially ones who want to work in the a one-of-a-kind pure virtual environment and everyone gets an equal opportunity to grow inside the company.
Cons
Everything is virtual, lots of people never met their colleagues in real life. It is also true that lots of people get laid off, but that is also kinda natural since only people who are flexible enough to work in a virtual environment are kept. I don't see this as a big problem actually as everyone is given an equal opportunity to grow.
