Low pay, higher ups do not listen to teachers and staff while making decisions, some school buildings are falling apart. Bottom line, would not recommend working here.

I left pretty quickly. It was to much for me, and I was in my 11th year of teaching- first year at Kealing Middle. The upper level administration is constantly changing which means the school is constantly in a state of flux. The head administrators are VERY inactive and under-involved. Many of the students are EXTREMELY violent. I have personally heard students swear at teachers (big swears- the adult kind), I have seen teachers punched in the face and pushed down onto a stair case. I have seen a student drag another student down stairs by her hair, personally had a student physically attack another student with special needs in a headlock, lifting him off the ground and swearing in his face during a lesson.
