Pros

Great friendly people, great students, nice that district pays for health insurance, Commute from Downtown Austin is against the traffic, lots of resources and nice facilities.

Cons

Horrible pay, benefits suck for new people, don't get workers' comp, crappy corporate upper management, teachers and special ed staff do not have enough input from each other- nobody works with each other at all and the services for special ed students are minimal.

Pros

Very great job working with students. Allows you to grow and learn with the district.

Cons

The job working with kids can be very physically, mentally and emotionally stressful. Getting paid once a month also took some time to get used to.
