Pros

Working as a teacher and inspiring young minds is especially rewarding. The Austin ISD means working in the city for a fairly progressive district in Texas. The offer a fair benefits package as well

Cons

You'll never get a raise or a promotion beyond cost of living increases unless you become an assistant principal or principal or transfer downtown, which means no longer working directly with students ina classroom environment. Teaching is extremely stressful and you will be prone to burnout. Other area districts pay more.

Pros

Everyone is very helpful and its a great work environment. If you dont mind food prep work. Managing is easy and if you like kids you will find it very rewarding. Free breakfast and lunch included.

Cons

Not any extra help, if you have someone out sick you have to pick up the slack yourself with no sympathy from your supervisor. New director I am pretty sure is a sociopath..

Pros

Good Benefits for FT employees

Cons

Managers are Micro-Managers. Managers should spend more time assisting staffs.
