Pros

I get a regular schedule to work with, a sense of job security, and good health insurance. The kids are fun to work with.

Cons

It's a salary, so overtime doesn't occur in school districts. As most teachers know, the extra time we invest after school hours is for the sake of the quality of teaching/learning environment we will provide to our students.

ok benefits. Not much else. I fortunately work at a great school with a great principal who allows me to do my job

Cons

lack of organization and centralization. Not much professional development. Extreme Lack of technology For the location and being the capital district. Haven't had a substantial raise in years.
