Pros
Very good benefits Great children, supportive families
Cons
Staff are territorial, and try to push out newcomers who do not comply to their ways Senior staff members are allowed to disobey the rules, be late, lazy, not help students 100%, but are the ones who are favored and represented against newer staff members For the schools I've worked at, pay is not enough for what I was expected to do and sacrifice- working weekends and from 7-7 sometimes. Hard work is not as praised as seniority and favoritism is. Would have up to 7 other adults in the classroom critiquing my teaching abilities and my classroom appearance, other times special education teachers would be in the room on their phones or talking to another teacher instead of assisting students. Not enough support
