If you like toxic atmosphere’s being ran by micromanaging nitwits, then this is the place for you.
Pros
Coworkers help you make it through the day. Managers in other areas were/are smart, knowledgeable and actually care about their employees. Unfortunately, can’t say the same for the New Jersey area, which is ran by an LPN and a director that know nothing about what we actually do to get the work done. (If you get hired into this area, RUN.)
Cons
A director that does not treat people with decency or respect. Looks at all of us nurses like we are robots and enforces production numbers that require 12 hour days to complete. Then there’s our manager and supervisors in billing that micromanage you to the point of feeling as if you are a child that has to ask to use the restroom, EVEN THOUGH WE WORK REMOTELY. This atmosphere never makes you feel cared for. You’re a number and the only thing they are good at is beating you down. AIS just got sold, AGAIN, and with the sale, they let go of some of the most competent coworkers we had as well as the other manager and supervisors that actually had brains. Resumes are being updated by many!
