      Great culture and work-life balance, less than average pay

      Pros

      The people are great, and management in actuarial is understanding and willing to work with you to make sure you have the opportunities you want. The company is flexible with allowing you to change departments if you grow bored in your current role.

      Cons

      The job can get repetitive and you are accepting lower pay to have the good work-life balance (37.5 hours a week), however the lower salaries are partially offset by a full pension (after 5 years).
