      Best job I've ever had... but not if you have school debt

      Pros

      Auto-Owners provides great benefits, pension, 401k, work/life balance, bonuses, a secure work environment. I feel incredibly lucky to have been hired.

      Cons

      Lowish pay for the experience/responsibilities, very strict schedule, limited opportunities, no health/wellness incentives. Other than those things, which are minor (except the limited opportunities), A-O is a great place to work and I am proud to walk in every day.

      Pros

      They don't lay off, or leave markets, Christmas bonus, mostly leave you to do your job, but micromanagement is approaching, trying to upgrade IT,

      Cons

      Poor choices by upper management, leadership only concerned with marketing, no idea about claims, over loaded work levels, lower pay than avg, since they dont lay off you end up with lot of people who are worthless but still have their job.

      The people are the best. The Company consistently tries to do the right thing in all respects. There is no better place to be part of a team.

      Cons

      If you are not committed to what you do and passionate about excellence, this is not the place for you.
