An A plus training program for underwriting. A great place to start your career, get your two years underwriting under your belt, maybe get a designation (they do pay for it) and then start looking for a company that will pay you enough to actually afford your bills and food. Also, lower management is often kind and considerate. They often have to be the bearers of the bad news, or try and spin upper managements words into something okay for an employee to be told, but in my career they did try and be supportive. My teammates were great, as were my other peers. Hybrid. I liked the hybrid schedule and being in the office two days a week. It was nice to connect to people on those days, but certainly less work was done on those days with all the distractions and noises.

Never worried about being laid off, management is communicative about issues before they threaten your job, pay is stable, decent health benefits paid for by the company.
