Business Outlook
Pros
A stable company that isn't going anywhere any time soon. You don't have to meet deadline after deadline in a high-stress and fast-paced environment. The people I immediately work with are great people.
Cons
What kind of atmosphere you experience here really depends on what group you're in. It can be great or it can be awful. The IT upper management doesn't in general know, or seem to care, about software development. They care about the business aspect more than the programming aspect. There feels like a big disconnect between management and the programmers actually doing the coding.
