There are plenty of open opportunities as a software engineer. If you are motivated, you can have chances to contribute almost any projects. This company is building many of its in-house software stacks and many of which are in growing. The management team recognizes very well the importance of future funding as there are very harsh challenge is going on in this Autonomous Driving market. Currently, AutoX is getting bigger attraction in China and would survive longer time than AV companies that are focusing on only US market. Although there are bunch of Chinese people here and the CEO is Chinese, they are putting serious efforts to bring diversity and openness into its culture like language classes, board game night, monthly hands on, and sports gatherings.
Cons
Required to work very hard. The infrastructure for engineering is still developing. Relatively low equity compensation.
