Pros

Gain experience you cannot get with other jobs, meet and help people that really appreciate what you can do for them, some benefits like merchandise discounts. Learn more about how to improve your own vehicle(s). There are also some career opportunities for those willing to go above and beyond their responsibilities.

Cons

One largely unfortunate part of being an Autozone employee is having the label of "Autozoner" being placed upon you. Autozone reminds us constantly of what they think we should be as an Autozoner. Unfortunately not every person is willing to give up their identity and life to Autozone and to become an Autozoner as Autozone wants them to be. The majority of my co-workers, myself included, feel that because we are paid Autozone wants us to be unquestioning and faithful to them regardless of how we are treated. The result is not commitment to the company but rather company resentment. Some of the job requirements seem demeaning especially when they make you do things like the "Cheer." The general consensus among my fellow co-workers is that the company could care less about us, Autozone pretends to care because they have to. We are reminded on a regular basis that the most costly part of running an Autozone store is our pay. I understand that to operate and maintain their large retail store chain Autozone must consider factors like payroll but they also have to realize that they get our valuable time and effort for that money they spend. Why not let us be who we are and compensate us for the service we provide? Without Autozoners there is no Autozone.

Pros

Working for Auto Zone for over 5 years I did met so many great people, My co workers where awesome and I did learn a a lot working with the company.

Cons

As a Parts Sales Manager You are required to do much for such a little pay. I worked in one of the high volume store very busy and dealing with customer complaints all the time. One minute District wants you not to return electrical parts then another day they don't. I will close the store all the times. They was times I'll close at 10:30 to be back at 6 the next morning. They not considerate at all... They only care about upper management.
