Pros

Flexability is good. Pay is ok. Store manager is super cool and helpful. Employee discount is good. Ok place to get your foot in the door if automotive is your thing.

Cons

Have one red shirt who doesnt face the store, feels its the responsibilty of the psm's to go pull his parts for customers that hes working with. Sweeping, cleaning, bathrooms, taking care of the parking lot??? Not for him!!! Hes more concerned with looking up parts for his own vehicle the majority of the time.

Pros

If you have a good team of people going to work can be a joy. With hard work and time the job can pay off.

Cons

The downsides are number one - pay scale is set too low and the management can be demanding or too laid back.

Pros

I have worked in the automotive industry for awhile and Autozone is really not a bad place to work. The pay is ok and if you have a good store, there is potential for bonuses. The benefits are ok with medical, dental, vision etc.

Cons

A lot of emphasis on up-selling but what do you expect? It's retail. I have never worked in retail where there isn't some kind of up-selling.
