Pros

Finance is well run with good leadership. High standards. Learned a lot. A lot of autonomy to work cross functionally and lead projects/meetings. Gave me plenty of resume and interview material.

Cons

Demanding by F500 standards. Late nights during period close. Cost controls and bureaucracy cost them high performing employees. Raises limited to 3% (6% for the highest performers), disincentivized to rate yourself highly on annual reviews.

Pros

Great work environment if you like this kind of stuff. I do, I was mechanic (trained) and became disabled so I worked PT but had to quit after I contracted Covid and nearly died, that and my rt shoulder and back are now messed up. I'm 61 now. Manager of my store was good to us, I wish I could come back.

Cons

Not all employees had a good work ethic, and didn't know much about parts or vehicles. Some of the customers are rude and expect everything, you install whatever part they bought. Training is insufficient, you watch a video on company work ethic and culture and then you are thrown to the wolves, help from other AZ employees is often not available, they are to busy and don't feel like they should be helping you .The computer system could be better, has a few cliches here and there, not always accurate, some things are buried deep into menus, hard to find. The passwords for EVERYTHING is a joke, You yell out PASSWORD, crickets....PASSWORD crickets....meanwhile the customer is getting pissed, even had the customers say to get me a password.
