Pros

It is quite good if you are interested in CAD industry since it dominates the whole industry. Also internally you will learn different technics as the project varies soon (half year or one year).

Cons

It is just so so to me, not so attractive any more. The office in Singapore does not grows well as the project is not quite interesting and also it is not easy to get promoted. Usually it takes 5~6 year to get to next level which does not motivates the employee much.

Pros

- Great Culture - Dynamic - Winners - Creative - Mega talented staff - Great offices - Great compensation package (Many companies in the recession are cutting benefits, Autodesk have paid annual bonus and maintained full benefits package. Much credibility to them). - Going into new markets eg Consumer is exciting

Cons

- Few outside of the industry have heard of the Autodesk brand or name. This is very frustrating as its a hidden gem of a company. Great to work for and its products help design most of the world around us, be it cars, planes, building, bridges, visual effects in films (eg Avatar, Inception, Lord of the Rings), and most of the videogames today. Very cool but very unknown.

Pros

- Major change in strategy laid out clearly. - Great pay and stock plan. - Vacation and other benefits are so-so but ok. - Global reach and usually get to work with very smart people.

Cons

- Disastrous execution of reorg. - Good growth (>50%) products getting sidelined due to VP's pet project. - Weak middle management that does not question upper management decisions or edicts. - Very very political. Cannot be honest. - Fringe benefits are gone. No more dogs in most offices. No drinks or snacks. - Travel is a pain.
