New Ownership Creating Positive Business Outlook

Pros

New Ownership has breathed life into the company. Under previous ownership there was a culture of nepotism and exclusion. There was no vision of the future and the ownership often settled for average. Previous Ownership treated it's employees very poorly and did not make them feel valued. New Ownership has been a breath of fresh air. The new CEO, Paul Loftus, brings a culture of inclusion, empowerment, mentorship, development, continuous improvement, accountability, and passion for excellence. Paul Loftus is very open and inclusive to speak with anyone in the company and utilizes feedback from all parties to steer the company. Paul Loftus works to make his employees feel included, valued, and empowered. New Ownership has come into the company first striving to understand how the company works and what makes us who we are. Employees have experienced a significantly higher ability to voice their opinions and provide excellent ideas to improve and grow the business. Senior Leadership is reinvigorated under new ownership to not just be good, but to be great. Many great things are ahead for Automated Systems.

Cons

Change in ownership is a transition in many ways. Automated Systems is in a transitionary phase currently. New Ownership is working to improve the culture and execution of the company as we move forward. With this, old habits are being broken and new habits formed. Change can be difficult and stressful for employees. So during this transitionary period, there is a heightened level of stress experienced by employees as everyone acclimates to the new way of doing things.

Not a good place to work. Chaotic and high turnover rate

Pros

monthly lunch. lots of overtime.

Cons

no communication, no leadership, knee jerk reactions by management, little documentation. high turnover rate. (I had 3 different supervisors during the course of my year there) expensive insurance, poor PTO options for employees that are just starting out. General unprofessional behavior. Management favorites could get away with murder. Nepotism.

COVID19 has been tough for many companies and it's a continual struggle. 33M people have filed unemployment claims in the US - we aren't alone in this economic struggle that all companies are battling right now. We will continue to be committed to our customers and they are committed to us - it's a partnership. It doesn't sound like you were happy to work here regardless of what is going on the world today and that's too bad. We will continue to strive each day to improve all aspects of our business; internal and external. We wish you the very best on your future endeavors.

Pros

Good place to start for young people.

Cons

The owner is crazy from what i have seen. He comes in once in awhile and just throws a fit. And i have met him at a bar when he was really drunk. Everyone else there is really nice. Pay is below average. Once again, good place to start.
