-Great sense of community, people practice what they preach -Software and daily activities are easy to pick up and accomplish with the tools provided to you -No day is ever the same as others

Cons

-Policies sometimes tended to be more strict than need be -As an intern, there can be situations were you are not going to receive compensation such as commission for the leases you work to sign -Residents can be aggressive, angry, or uneasy to please and this can be challenging if you have not handled these situations before on your own.

Fully engaging experience, good benefits, tuition reimbursement, sense of teamwork. They are willing to train and they give you the ability to move up in their company

Cons

The Company uses minimal staff at each site and in most cases leave sites understaffed permanently. They show favoritism towards ethnic employees as oppose to treating everyone equal.

AvalonBay is a great company to work for. I have worked here for almost 3 years in the human resources department and feel so blessed to be working for such a great company. A few things I really appreciate about the company -Supportive leadership team -Sense of family in the office -Company values your input and voice -Good work/life balance -Good benefits, especially discounted rent for associates

Cons

I happy to see the company investing in the training department and overall technology which is needed.
