While in nursing school, the supervisor was very supportive and did her best to work with and around my class schedules.

Great on-the-job learning opportunity for new nurses. Opportunities to move on/up in other areas of healthcare but within the family of companies. If you're a hard worker and a nice person, you WILL be supported.

Cons

Skilled nursing is hard, that's true no matter what company you're working under and Avamere is no different. Sometimes it feels like you don't have enough help in order to complete your tasks. Very demanding job.
