      Pros

      Avamere invests in it's employees and develops the future leaders from within our ranks. Avamere recognizes talent, hard work and a passion for enhancing the lives of seniors and helps guide them to their career goals.

      Cons

      In this climate, it's difficult to find quality caring staff who want to make senior health care a career.

      Pros

      Opportunities for "advancement" but it's actually just a way to get employees to do free overtime

      Cons

      They are terrible to their employees and do not follow the laws. They disregard the ADA and do not pay a fair wage. They promote people to "management" simply as a way to get them to do free overtime. You become a "supervisor" and you do the same exact job, only twice the hours and never getting paid for it.

      fully integrated electronic Health Records, decent Per Patient Day Budget (PPD), decent salary, partial 401K match

      Cons

      You will be pushed to take admissions that are not appropriate for your building or your clinical staff, corporate office will not have your back if something goes wrong.
