The workload kept increasing without any realistic plan for make it reasonable. By the time I left, I was doing the work of a small team all by myself. I also changed roles a couple of times, and my work from the old role was never properly off-loaded. Additionally, my second manager treated me terribly, as he was always insulting me and would never give me space to speak, even during my own 1:1 time with him - he used up all the air time whenever possible. And there was someone else who often tokenized me based upon my race (ie: when introducing ourselves to our new executive, everybody else was told to talk about their job experience and aspirations, but I was told to talk about my culture), which was disappointing and uncomfortable.

Layoff central! No bonuses! No promotions! The Americas region is not leveraging its full potential in the competitive GSI landscape. The lack of experience in real-world consulting with the senior leadership team might be hindering the development of a strong regional strategy. For example, some industry competitors are outperforming in attracting talent, landing opportunities for strategic projects, and growing revenue %. While Avanade is not.
