      Pros

      You will work with the best folk in the industry at Avanade. A good, closely-knit community with fantastic peers who collaborate and assist as required. Definitely the go-to place for entry level folks with little/no experience; basically new graduates.

      Cons

      Pressure to get certified and stay billable year-round. Bench time is discouraged. Work life balance can get challenging. Your experience with Avanade will depend "TOTALLY" on the clients you work with.

      Pros

      Work with smart people and cutting edge technologies. They provide experiences via the wide set of roles in different projects which means that work is never stale. The support from management and ability to learn are 2nd to none and there are numerous initiatives within the company to encourage boundary pushing ideas. The benefits are great too.

      Cons

      Client expectations are proportional to the bill rate clients are charged, this means a lot is expected in a very short time so work life balance is not great, I have worked on projects where compulsory 12 hour days were expected for months on end. This is almost always when we are working as a subcontractor for another large Consulting firms projects (~75% of time).
